Any questions?

  • What’s your best travel memory ?

It’s difficult to make a choice !
I will always remember about my 10 days in Los Angeles, living like a star, sitting on the back of a limousine, and staying at a palace in Beverly Hills. Los Angeles is way more interesting than we think, an amazing architecture, eternal myths and a chill atmosphere.
I also think one of my best travel memory was my arrival in La Havana, when I just got into a bar and a group of cheerful people joined us and embarked us on a night journey across the city, in a old rusty car and we all ended up at a nightclub. Later on, we went on to gaze at the rising sun from the Malecon.

  • Which place would you highly recommend ?

Mihir Garh, located in the heart of the desert of Rajasthan in India. It looks like a dream from the Tales of the Arabian nights. The childhood dreams of a prince have given birth to this magical place.
Extreme relaxation, true hospitality and a subtle touch of luxury !
Also I always fall for Arriba Arriba in Manhattan, a Mexican restaurant where you can sip the best margaritas in the world.

  • Where would you settle down ?

In Tuscany, in a villa full of history and filled up with a group of friends, savouring tasty old ham and premium wines, sitting on our terrace at dusk. Or I’d go to French Polynesia to fish pearls and probably to spend my golden years.

  • What’s your dream trip ?

The Inca trail in Peru or a trek in Nepal and Bhutan to see the old monasteries and rhododendrons.

  • Are you rather into highly organized travel or improvisation ?

I like to plan accommodation and transfers in advance in order to avoid bad surprises, but with a touch of spontaneity. History and culture are my main focuses when traveling.

  • Your all-time top three destinations ?

Italy, for its art, culture and gastronomy, it truly makes you believe paradise really exists.
Mexico would be in my top three destinations because it’s a diverse and fascinating country due to its pre-Columbian civilisation and colorful traditions, and the extreme kindness of the Mexicans.
India would also be part of it because it’s a country full of contrasts, a mix between vain sophistication and plain misery. An emotional journey !

  • Where to go, when and why ?

You should spend Christmas in Vienna when the city colourfully shimmers and you’d feel like a Habsburg or going to New England during Autumn to enjoy its warm hues.
