How would you describe your overall impression of this Uniktour trip?
The entire trip was great. Uniktour and the local correspondents arranged everything to perfection. In particular the local rep was very organized, energetic and very helpful at all times. The bus drivers and the guides were well informed, patient and answered all our questions. The hotels were very good and the staff friendly and supportive. The Inca Trail trek to Machu Pichu was outstanding although tiring. The porters, the cook and the guide were amazing. We simply loved the entire trip from beginning to end. The day we spent in Lima was great and the guide took care of us at all times. Uniktour, thanks for a superb trip.

Describe your overall impression of on-location services (hotels, guides, etc.):
The local correspondent was totally involved and simply faultness in the way they organized our daily agendas for us. The local rep was there when we needed him to answer questions and very patient. Around him, the guides and the bus drivers were well informed and extremely patient in answering our hundreds or questions. They were always there as scheduled like clockwork. We were met at the airports, bus stations and train stations exactly as we expected. A fantastic team.
Do you have any tips for other travelers thinking of going on this trip?
Use DIAMOX before and during the Machu Picchu trek, bring a good, small, camera with fully charged batteries, bring warm clothes for the evening, drink lots and lots of water, don't overload your daypack and wear the best hiking boots you can afford.
Is there a memorable moment or trip highlight you would like to share?
The morning we walked through the Sun Gate and saw Machu Picchu in the morning sunrise was brilliant. The clear mountain air brought the distant mountains so close we felt we could touch them. The enormity of the sanctuary was astounding considering where is was built. It was worth pushing ourselves for 4 days through the mountains although the porters, cook and guide did their best to make it all easier. The scenery throughout is awesome.
