  • Day 1 | INTERNATIONAL FLIGHT

  • Day 2 | ARRIVE NAIROBI

Evening arrival in Nairobi. Reception and transfer to Jacaranda Hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

  • Day 3 | NAIROBI - AMBOLSELI SAFARI (approx. 250kms / 3 hour drive - B, L, D)

After a hearty American breakfast at your hotel (served buffet style), early morning departure for Amboseli Park at the foot of Mount Kilimanjaro, the highest mountain in all of Africa.

Amboseli became a National Reserve in 1995 and is one of the oldest national parks in Kenya, as well as one of the smallest at only 392 kmᵌ. With its unique location at the foot of Kilimanjaro and its snow-capped peak at 5,995 metres of altitude, Amboseli is a truly inspiring natural setting, managed by the Maasai community.

The park is comprised of sandy areas and acacia tortilis woods, and it changes in appearance seasonally. When very hot and dry, it’s not uncommon to see huge expanses of water… but they are only mirages! Amoseli’s main attraction is its large elephant population, as well as its permanent resident birds who flock to the marshes fed by the waters of Kilimanjaro: Jacanas, spoonbills, flamingos, cormorants, pelicans, storks, Goliath herons, gray and white herons, etc. It is truly a birdwatchers’ paradise.

Lodge accommodations in the heart of the park.

  • Day 4 | AMBOSELI SAFARI (B, L, D)

Explore Amboseli Park and observe abundant wildlife. Morning safari, lunch at your lodge and relaxation time (swimming pool), before a second safari in the park departs in the afternoon.

Amboseli is home to numerous mammals: elephants, Burchell zebras, Grant gazelles, Thomson gazelles, wildebeest, impala, gerenuks, giraffes, hippos and big cats.

At the end of the day, your guide will show you the elephant herds that traditionally face Kilimanjaro at sunset.

Lodge accommodations in the heart of the park.

  • Day 5 | TSAVO PARK SAFARI (250 kms / 4 hour safari - B, L, D)

After breakfast, depart for Tsavo Park, one of the lesser-known national parks in the country, yet one of the largest in the region. Located south-west of Amboseli, Tsavo National Park offers exceptional safari opportunities! In Tsavo, it’s common to see large herds of elephants, bison, zebras and even lions. Accommodations in small, elegant camp.

  • Day 6 | WEST TSAVO PARK SAFARI (B, L, D)

After breakfast, depart for your first safari in the morning; the Tsavo West landscape is characterized by hills, crossing rivers and rich fauna. Return to your camp for a relaxing lunch on the savannah. In the afternoon, depart for a second safari exploration with your guide.

Accommodations in small, elegant camp.

  • Day 7 | TSAVO - TANZANIA (B, L, D)

Breakfast prior to departing for Tanzania. Continue your adventure with your private Tanzanian guide, exploring the small town of Moshi, at the foot of Kilimanjaro. If you’re lucky, you’ll be able to take in beautiful views of Kilimanjaro throughout your tour. Arrive in Arusha, a small mountain town at 1,400 m altitude, and the capital of Northern safaris. Return to your hotel, with recreation (swimming) before dinner and overnight stay.

Hotel accommodations in a superior room (dinner and accommodations) .

  • Day 8 | NGORONGORO CRATER SAFARI (B, L, D)

After breakfast, drive to the famous Ngorongoro Crater. You will arrive at the peak of the crater (at 2,300 m), where you’ll be greeted by magnificent panoramic views of the “caldera”, 20 kms in diameter and the second largest crater in the world. In addition to the landscape’s incredible beauty, the first views from the peak are breathtaking and the safari that follows is simply unforgettable. Photo stop on the peak before begin your 4x4 descent.

Crater safari and picnic lunch with your guide.

Ngorongoro Crater is one of the most impressive natural wonders in the world. However, the crater forms only a small part of the protected Ngorongoro region and its spectacular natural areas. The “Ngorongoro Conservation Area”, 8,292 km² in area, was elevated to the status of an international biosphere reserve and belongs to the UNESCO World Heritage collection.

More than 25,000 wild animals have taken up residence inside the crater, with more than two million wild animals living within the protected areas, combining to form a safari adventure paradise!

Lodge accommodations.

  • Days 9 and 10 | SERENGETI SAFARI (B, L, D)

Morning trip to the legendary Serengeti, the world’s most famous zoo! Serengeti means “endless plains” in the Masai language, which is a well-deserved name for the vast savannahs, interspersed with kopjies (large rock piles).

Renowned for its abundance of cheetahs and lions, the Serengeti is famous for the annual migration of its herbivores: a unique spectacle of thousands of wildebeest and zebras in search of greener pastures! Your experienced guide will lead you to sites where you can observe the great migration.

Two-days of Serengeti safaris in search of the BIG 5! The five main species are lion, leopards, elephants, rhinos and African bison.

Two nights lodge accommodation.

  • Day 11 | FROM SERENGETI TO NGORONGORO (B, L, D)

After breakfast, depart for a completely different safari in another of the Serengeti’s ecosystems, continuing on to the Ngorongoro protected area. Optional stop at Olduvai Gorge to visit a museum dedicated to research on the origins of man.

Settle into a cozy little lodge for the night.

  • Day 12 | MANYARA NATIONAL PARK SAFARI (B, L, D)

After breakfast, depart for your safari day, with a picnic, in Lake Manyara National Park, home to thousands of flamingos. You will also observe numerous hippos near the lake, as well as giraffes, zebras and lions, who occasionally bask in the trees.

Settle into your lodge for the night.

  • Day 13 | MANYARA - Transfer to ARUSHA - DEPARTURE

Relaxing morning and breakfast at your lodge, which offers magnificent views of Lake Manyara. Depart for Arusha, stopping at Cultural Heritage to peruse African art. Lunch in a nice restaurant before transferring to Kilimanjaro airport for your international flight. Dinner and overnight on board.
