  • Day 1 | International Flight

Departure from Montreal. Overnight travel.

  • Day 2 | Arrival in Johannesburg

Arrive at O. R. Tambo International Airport in Johannesburg. Greeting and delivery of travel documents by our francophone representative. Transfer to your hotel. Accommodations in a boutique-style hotel.

  • Day 3 | Johannesburg Region (B, L)

Depart with your francophone driver/guide to visit the Soweto area: the Southwestern Township known for its insurgency in 1976 during the Apartheid era. Visit the Apartheid Museum. Lunch at Shebeen. City tour of Pretoria, with a stop at the Voortrekker Monument. Late afternoon return to your hotel. Accommodations in a boutique-style hotel.

  • Day 4 | Johannesburg - Private Reserve in Kruger Park Region (B, L*, D)

Transfer to Johannesburg airport and fly off to the region of Kruger Park. A land transfer with an anglophone guide will take you to the heart of your private reserve. Settle into your lodge. Embark on your first safari in a 4x4 vehicle with your anglophone ranger. Accommodations in a 5* lodge (take advantage of these two night to experience the option of sleeping in a luxury tent).

  • Day 5 | Private Reserve (B, L, D)

Full day safari (2) in the reserve on board a 4X4 vehicle, discovering African wildlife along with your ranger. Accommodations in a 5* lodge (take advantage of these two night to experience the option of sleeping in a luxury tent).

  • Day 6 | Private Reserve - Cape Town (B)

Private transfer to Hoedspruit Airport with anglophone guide. Flight to Cape Town via Johannesburg. Upon arrival in Cape Town, an anglophone guide will transfer you to your hotel. Some refer to Cape Town as “the end of the world”, but most prefer to think of it as a place of new beginnings, a breeding ground for subtle mixes, “another Africa”, where the New World and Old World collide. Hotel accommodations in a waterfront boutique-style hotel.

  • Day 7 | Cape Town (B)

Depart for a half-day city tour with your private anglophone guide. Take a panoramic tour of Cape Town, ascending Table Mountain by cable car (weather permitting). Return to hotel in the late morning. Free afternoon to enjoy the city. Hotel accommodations in a waterfront boutique-style hotel.

  • Day 8 | Cape Town - Peninsula Tour (B, L)

Depart for the Cape Peninsula with your anglophone guide. An amazing patchwork of untamed discoveries, you’ll take a mini cruise to Hout Bay. You’ll also travel the “Chapman's Peak” route, a road carved into huge sandstone and granite cliffs offering breathtaking views of the coast. At the end of the road, Cape of Good Hope is the meeting point of two oceans: the Indian the Atlantic. Lobster lunch. On your return, you’ll stop in Simon’s Town, a charming little enclave marked by beautiful Victorian homes along a beach renowned for its impressive penguin colonies. Late afternoon return to Cape Town. Hotel accommodations in a waterfront boutique-style hotel.

  • Day 9 | Cape Town - Wine Route (B, L)

Depart for a full-day tour along the Wine Route with your private anglophone guide. You’ll enter a region lined with meticulously maintained vineyards and beautiful white farms lined with umbrella pine hedges. This region, famous for its wine production, is undoubtedly the most European-like region of the country. Along the route, you’ll stop in Stellenbosch, a city whose university has made it one of the most prolific academic centres in the nation. Visit a winery and indulge in South African wine tasting. Visit the Franschhoek Museum and Memorial, in a charming little town known as “French corner”. Enjoy lunch in a winery before returning to Cape Town in the late afternoon. Hotel accommodations in a waterfront boutique-style hotel.

  • Day 10 | Cape Town - Departure (B)

Free day to enjoy the Cape, and you can hold your room until late afternoon. Transfer with anglophone guide to Cape Town airport at the end of the day for your international return. Overnight travel.
